Autumn; Year 753 of the new Age

"Do you really have to go?" full of concern, Samin looked up to her beloved mate.
"You know, I will be back soon" he tried to calm down the upset doe with his soft voice. Lovingly he lays his head on hers and gently pushes her towards him.
"Please promise me!"
"I will always return back to you, Samin. You have my word!" With these words he snuggled one last time with her and her soft fur.
Attentively little Alia watched her parents. She was still too young to understand this tumult at all. Confused she put her head to the side and looked up at her father. Èloran had to laugh when he saw his daugther looking so confused, then he bend down and nudged her with his nose.
"I will make a fire, that you will be warm and safe until I come back." He gathered some braches and put them down on a pile on the ground. With a twinkle Èloran lit a small fire. Enthusiastic the little doe saw how the fire groped his way through the branches and devour them slowly.
"Papa, Papa show me how you did that!" Excited Alia bounced around her father.
"Alia! Your father has to go now. Don't try to hold him back, it's enough when I do that." with a gentle severity Samin hold back the funky little girl.
"Do not be so strict with my little angel, my dear. I will show it to you when I get back, is that ok with you?"
"Oh yeah great. Hurry, hurry daddy. Come back soon!"
Slowly Èloran turned around and walked deeper into the forest. Samin lay down on the ground next to the small fire. The flames crackled softly. Unlike her mother Alia was still more than fit and hopped around the fire. She collected every single twig and threw it into the fire. Always trying to ignate a small twig by herselfe.
Deep in her thoughts Samin looked into the forest, an uneasy feeling, she could not describe, crawled up her bones. Something inside her told her to to stand up and run afterwards Èlias to bring him back. She already wantet to stand up as the small fire suddlenly hit big flames in front of her.
"ALIA!" Shocked she looked at her daughter. She was still playing with the fire.
"Mama, Mama, look! I've made a butterfly!" Overjoyed Alia hopped around and tries to catch the flame butterfly. But it is already passing away. Suprised Samin looked up at the flames and saw it, there are really some flames forming a slightly form of a butterfly, with a lot of imagination. Speechless she stared at the little doe, she was much too youngto act such strong magic. But when Samin looked up, she saw, hidden behind some leves and bushes, Èloran standing and smiling. Now Samin understood, he had formed the fire, just to make Alia happy. He nodded while looking back to Samin, his lips formed some words 'Please, don't tell her'
"I will not tell her my dear..." she said to herselve. She nodded, smiled back at him and turned back to her overactive daughter.

A few hours passed in which Samin and Alia sat by the fire. The flames moved back after Èloran left. In this time Alia was still running and hopping around her mother and the fire. To help her mother she tries to collect some herbs, with less success. Collecting every single little weed and leave, but nothing really valuable. It filled Samin always with pride that her daughter was so eager to learn the herbalism. But now Alia was no longer as active as before. It's getting late and Alia already have to yawn from time to time. However, Samin got more nervous by every minute passing by. Èloran shouldn'd stay away so long, he should already be back.
